build a thin PC case from scratchthis was a trial to build a very thin PC case containing standard components. p.e. I did not want to disassemble the power supply. so it is not a big deal to replace it. the machine has a graphic card and a gigabit network card. it is very healthy in thermical view. the harddrives have a dedicated fan. the air flow driven by this fan cooles also the graphic-/network cards. the cpu is cooled by the sharkoon fan in the left side of the housing. it is not very loud. the pictures have no good quality and I found also that the paint is a difficult thing because you need to make it in a room without any dust.
it is a proof of concept.
